Darriaud Côtes du Rhône Cairanne displays a deep garnet colour. The nose is complex and inviting, revealing aromas of concentrated dark fruit such as blackberry and cassis, interwoven with notes of licorice, dried herbs, and a hint of leather or smoky undertones. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet well-integrated tannins, a good level of acidity, and a long, persistent finish showcasing both fruit intensity and savoury complexity. 

This is a more substantial Côtes du Rhône, well-suited to richer dishes like roasted lamb, game, beef stews, or mature cheeses.
