“The Enclos” cuvée comes from a plot selection of Domaines Edmond de Rothschild in Puisseguin Saint-Emilion. This vineyard was acquired in the 2000s by Benjamin (Edmond’s son) after more than a century of family history linked to the wine world. With an ideal South facing, this excellent chalky-clay terroir allows the Merlot (70% of the blend) to express itself fully and gives the wine its aromatic complexity, its suppleness and its roundness in the mouth.
